All the features of the market-changing DishTemp, now with Bluetooth wireless technology, DishTemp Blue accurately and irreversibly records the max surface temperature of dishware in commercial dishwashers and saves the recordings directly to a smart device. Engineered with molded-in, water-tight seals, using industrial-grade materials, DishTemp Blue carries an IP66 rating and comes with a NIST-Traceable Calibration Certificate so you know its accurate, and a 1-year warranty.

DishTemp Blue eliminates costly and inaccurate thermal labels and stem thermometers that don't stay in place and don't accurately measure temperature at the plate surface. DishTemp Blue complies with the FDA Food Code requirements for high temperature dishwasher testing using irreversible registering temperature indicators.

DishTemp Blue only has one button. The power button resets the irreversible Max Temp reading before each cycle. Simply turn DishTemp Blue on, toss it in with the other wares and view the max surface temperature after the dish cycle ends. Use during audits and daily logs. With ThermoWorks App & Cloud (requires paid tier), DishTemp Blue records your max temperature directly to your smart device.

Built to survive daily use inside commercial dishwashers, DishTemp outperforms every testing solution. Save time, save money, improve your work. Order now.

What is an IP Rating?
An IP rating, also known as "International Protection" or "Ingress Protection" rating, is a value assigned to a product that determines its susceptibility to ingress from solids and liquids. The first numeric digit relates to the level of protection against solid objects, and the second numeric digit indicates the level of protection against liquid ingress.

IP66 - No ingress of dust (6); Protected against strong jets of water e.g. for use on shipdecks - limited ingress permitted (6).

ThermoWorks DishTemp Blue is a plate-simulating dishwasher thermometer that measures and wirelessly transmits the maximum surface temperature reached inside a commercial dishwasher cycle. It sits directly in dish racks alongside wares and utilizes Bluetooth LE technology to automatically record temperature logs to a paired mobile device.

Yes, DishTemp fully verifies compliance with FDA Food Code Section 4-703.11(B) for thermal sanitization in high-temperature commercial dishwashers. It provides an irreversible maximum temperature recording with high accuracy (±0.9°F / ±0.5°C) and comes with a NIST-traceable calibration certificate.

DishTemp eliminates recurring single-use temperature strip costs by offering a reusable, durable digital testing solution with long-term NIST-traceable accuracy. Unlike thermal strips that only change color at specific threshold steps, DishTemp records exact, high-precision surface temperatures.

The maximum operating temperature for DishTemp is 194°F (90°C), DishTemp should never be exposed to environments above 200°F (93°C). Exceeding 200°F can damage internal electronic components and the waterproof seal.

To reset the irreversible max temperature reading, simply turn DishTemp off and power it back on using the single front-facing power button. Powering the device on resets the internal memory, making it immediately ready to capture the peak temperature of the next wash cycle.

To toggle the display between °F and °C, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds while turning the unit on from a powered-off state. The screen will switch temperature scales and save your preference for subsequent wash cycles.

Hardware is fine. The app functionality?

"Don't waste your money on the Bluetooth version. With the new Thermoworks app, you can only pair the DishTemp Blue as a testing device. You cannot use the "add a device" menu in the app as the device will never appear theree. Instead, you must need "subscribe" to a paid Thermoworks plan. The idea is that the user is saving money on test strips, but this is an artificial barrier on the part of Thermoworks they should really reconsider. A homeowner like me (not commercial kitchen staff) should be able to simply use the Bluetooth for immediate status without having to pay extra. . . please address this, Thermoworks!"

DishTemp Blue not worth the $$

"Device works, although Bluetooth capabilities do not work at all. The instructions provided with the device are not updated. The application name provided in the instructions is not accurate (application name has been updated). Then, after downloading the assumingly correct application, I tried to connect the application to my device. Guess what? The device does not exist on the app. So kind of scammy to advertise as a bluetooth capable device, when in fact it is not. Purchased in April, calibration certificate expires October. Don't buy the Bluetooth model. It is extra $$ for no extra perks. lol I was going to attach a screenshot of the application but to add to the glitchy software issues, the 'add photo' button will not work :)"

Works well but bluetooth capability not fully explained until after purchase.

"The puck is the same as the non bluetooth model which is good quality. Issue I have is that I thought the bluetooth model would be worth the extra cost to have the capability of tracking the use via computer/online. It was not explained in the description that some proprietary app would need to be used that requires an additional subscription."

No Brainer

"Very Accurate. It helped me catch an issue with my water heater last week. . ."

Dish Review

"this is a nice item to have. I don't have a phone that could take advantage of the Bluetooth. But that was not a big problem for me. It was so easy to just slip it onto the conveyer of the Hobart washer, with the dishes. And check out the temp during different load levels. And see how the amount of dishes and type of pots affected the temp. Even on long industrial size Hobart my employer has. Some energy can leave the washer with the pans and dishes. It can be very informative if used smartly."

Just works

"Great thing about the Dish Temp is it just works. Helps us keep track of the temp at the plate surface ensuring we are providing a safe experience for our guests"
