Great addition to kitchen tools

"Works extremely well. I had issues with probes moving with softer or raw foods. This slides onto the side of a baking dish and holds the probe in place, but it still slides out when you remove it after baking. I've only used this in the oven. I can't say how well it works on a grill or smoker. It's also super easy to clean."

Great little gadget

"This little gadget is something I didn't know I needed until I tried it. Several times now, I'vebeen able to place the probe precisely into heating oil and it makes the process so much easier. I love my Thermapen, and used to just periodically test temperature with it, but this really frees me up. As simple as this little hunk of silicone is, it's perfectly designed for the job."

"This little gadget holds my Thermoworks probes securely on the edges/lips of various pots and pans. I was particularly pleased with the way my probe tip can set in the middle of my loaf pan when baking bread/cakes. I am looking forward to ""fudge"" season when candy making requires accurate temperatures and, again, the probe tip can now be in the center of the mixture rather than rest on the side of my pot. I wish it came in a different color but other than that, it's great!"

Can this be used on an oven grate instead of a metal grate clip?
The silicone pot clip is made for the edge of pots, not oven grates. It may sit there, but it won’t hold as securely. A [grate clip](https://www.thermoworks.com/products/tx-1006x-gc) is the better option.
