This kit combines the MTC with our regular Super-Fast probe. This is the same thermocouple found on our popular Thermapen. Reads in 3 to 4 seconds. This probe is more durable than our meat needle probe and a bit longer while still giving fast readings. The reduced tip section of the probe is 1/16" diameter. Includes padded zipper wallet.

The best food thermometer!

"I have had this thermocouple for nearly 10 years. It's an amazing food thermometer. I have cooked countless perfectly cooked pieces of meat, from chicken to steak and brisket. It's also great for other things in the kitchen like getting the correct temperature for brewing coffee and checking to see if food is reheated. I have even stuck the probe directly in a charcoal fire and it didn't phase it (I don't recommend that). I chose this to save a few dollars over a thermapen back then and I don't regret it one bit."
