"I wanted something to carry my thermapen in rather than just in a pocket. This holster is reasonable quality, but it's way big - the thermapen rattles around like a pea in a stewpot. Ideally, it would fit snugly. And - this holster just comes with a sewn nylon belt loop. I don't always wear a belt when cooking. I would prefer a light open ended metal or plastic clip, to allow slipping onto waistband or edge of a pocket. David JamesOregon"
